The main shopping facilities are in the city centre. Day to day shopping needs are met at Hulme 'High Street', anchored by an Asda Superstore, where the popular Moss Side Leisure Centre is also located. There are also many independent shops and services located on Princess Road and elsewhere that cater for the specific requirements of the different minority groups living in the two parishes. Whalley Range has a small cluster of shops on Withington Road.
