A colour filled Bank Holiday Monday!

On Monday 6th, three of the young people from St James’ Marathi congregation, and three of the not-so-young people, including myself, ran the 5Km ‘Colour Run’ at Whitworth Park, to raise money for the church building fund.

It was a fantastic day – much paint was thrown around and lots of fun was had.  We were really delighted for the support of those who came along to cheer us on (some may have even left a little more colourful than they arrived!)

At the time of writing, the amount our young people raised stands at £320. There is still time to sponsor retrospectively – either on the crowdfunding page…

or by giving the money to me (Grace

Many thanks to everyone who participated or supported in some way – it has been very much appreciated. Next year we plan to field an even bigger team!
