Ever wondered what life was all about? Yeah us too!

Starting this Sunday the 24th September all 4 congregations of St Eds and St James are going to be discovering our God-given purpose in life through the course 'What on Earth am I here for' based on the book by Rick Warren, 'The purpose driven life'.

Already 50 people have signed up and recieved or are about to recieve, a welcome pack including: A daily devotional, a study guide, a key chain with 6 memory verses and a timetable explaining how this is going to work.

We all learn differently so over this series you will explore these 6 life-purposes through:

  • Hearing 6 sermons on sunday on that weeks life-purpose.
  • Watching 6 videos going deeper into that weeks life-purpose.
  • Discussing in 6 small group sessions.
  • Memorising 6 memory verses about that weeks life-purpose.
  • Establish or re-establish a daily time of devotion through 42 short daily readings.

If you would like to get a taster of what is to come please listen to Garfield's brilliant talk from this sunday at St Ed's where he began to prepare us for the course. click here and go to the growing tab to listen.

God created you to grow deeper in your relationship with Him through the fun of being in a supportive community.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one anotherĂ¢â‚¬"and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV)

God bless
