A lovely time in Blackpool!

About 60 people from our churches and Playroom, visited Blackpool Zoo on Saturday 2 June and we were blessed with a dry day.  The zoo was great with lots to see, including the resident Canadian geese and goslings wandering all over the paths.  After a couple of hours at the zoo we met up to go to the promenade at Blackpool, where some went for coffee, some went on the sand and in the sea, some walked to the central pier and had a ride on the Big Wheel.  We finished off a busy day with a meal at Bispham Kitchen, before heading home for Manchester.  It was a lovely day out, chatting to people and deepening friendships.  Thank you Ben for the making it happen.
