Place of Welcome every Tueday at St James at 10.00am

St James’ Church is a Place of Welcome, a national initiative designed to be a place where people can meet and socialise. Its main aim is to provide fellowship and combat loneliness.

Every Tuesday at 10.00am we meet for free refreshments and fellowship.  It’s a local place where everyone feels safe to belong, connect and contribute. Meet new people, meet with friends and find out about your community.  Find out how to access other local services. A relaxed safe space where everyone is welcome

At our recent launch we were joined by Cllr Mahadi Sharif-Mahamed and some of our friends from Mosscare St Vincent, and the room was buzzing with ideas about everything from residents associations to chair exercise to finding help with repair jobs within our homes.
